The quality of life of patients with caries of contact area on posterior teeth treated with different matrix systems

Quality of life is an important condition for evaluating the effectiveness of the therapy and the clinical status of patients after treatment in addition to instrumental methods of diagnosis. The study evaluated the effectiveness of the separation and restraint for the restoration of posterior teeth in the treatment of caries contact areas of the teeth as a factor influencing the quality of later life. The study involved 49 patients: 15 were included in the control group; 18 and 16 made up the first and second clinical groups correspondingly. The purpose of the research was to study the quality of life of patients after treatment with different matrix systems. The study proved that such a criterion, as quality of life, is informative dynamic index, which value is significantly dependent on the application of technology to eliminate the caries cavity.
