The damage from a sudden breach of information security at a critical infrastructure facility is proposed to be represented as the costs of time, materials, labor, energy, and financial resources required to restore the facility's operability. A Python program has been developed that enables rapid assessment of the distribution characteristics of the time, materials, labor, energy, and financial resources spent on restoring the information security of a critical infrastructure facility. Using financial resource costs as an example, the author's Python program is demonstrated to be capable of quickly assessing a set of key statistical characteristics of the distribution of resource costs to restore the facility's operability, including the mean value, variance, root mean square value, coefficient of variation, skewness, kurtosis, minimum and maximum values, and an estimate of the values and structure of cumulative probabilities.
