Kalmyk Russian language poetry of the turn of the XX-XXI centuries: a history of the issue

The article considers the problem of studying modern Kalmyk Russian language poetry in Russian literary criticism, which was on the periphery of the scientific interest of researchers of national literature. The purpose of the article is to identify the genesis and development of Kalmyk Russian language poetry at the turn of the XX-XXI centuries. The tasks include clarifying the periodization of this phenomenon, presenting different generations of poets, determining their role in the modern literary process, their place in the history of Kalmyk literature at the turn of the century, and uncovering the problems of coexistence in a single field of national literature.
