Purpose: Research of the category «organizational legal mechanism» in the context of protection of subjects of legal relationship. Methodology: Formally-legal, juridical-linguistic methods of scientific knowledge were used. Results: The article analyzes the category «organizational legal mechanism» in the context of protection of subjects of legal relationship. The analysis of the term «mechanism» in relation to the state and legal phenomena is carried out. Novelty/originality/value: Article has high scientific value. The author formulates definition of an organizational legal mechanism of protection - it is open dynamic system of the institutes (precepts of law and the organizations adequate to them) providing the rights and legitimate interests of subjects, a basis which socially active individuals-participants of the corresponding public relations.
