Category of verb tense in English and Turkmen languages

This scientific work is an in-depth comparative study of the category of verb tense in English and Turkmen. The category of tense is a fundamental grammatical phenomenon that plays a crucial role in the formation of meanings and structuring of statements. The peculiarity of this work is that it considers not only the theoretical aspects of grammatical tenses, but also specific examples of their use in artistic, colloquial and journalistic speech, with a detailed semantic and pragmatic analysis. The comparative approach allows us to identify both typological similarities and specific differences between two languages belonging to different language families: Germanic and Turkic, respectively.
