Cyberbullying as a Part of the Information War

The article examines the features of the use of cyberbullying as a part of the information war. The author of the article uses a comparative analytical method to identify characteristic features of cyberbullying, which has become one of the most significant problems for Russians. Cyberbullying can act as a part of information and behavioral warfare. The prevention of cyberbullying involves the development of critical thinking among as many Russians as possible, distrust of information on the Internet and fake news. Cyberbullying uses manipulative techniques to deceive citizens, which collectively reinforce each other. These manipulative techniques are based on the desire of cybercriminals to lead their potential victims to situational suggestion through the urgency and sensationalism of messages on the phone or in instant messengers. The task of Russians is not to succumb to situational suggestion and not to lose their money, not to be influenced by cybercriminals.
