The cybernetic approach as a condition for the education quality improving is discussed. The article examines the learning process from the point of view of the managing theory of the formation process of the information competence as an integral part of the professional competence. It develops the problem relevance. Its causes are the information fiow increasing and the need to use cybernetic methods taking into account the didactic patterns. The article substantiates the theoretical estimation expediency of the received knowledge infiuence on the indicators of the other subjects’ study and on training quality. Key terms are analyzed. A brief historiography of the development of cybernetics and cybernetic pedagogy is presented, and the philosophical aspect is singled out. The positions of foreign and Russian scientists on this problem are presented and analyzed. It points to the need to use the ideas of the cybernetic concept in the information society. It is proved that with the help of methods and principles of cybernetics it is possible to manage the learning processes effectively, to predict the desired results by identifying trends, problems, achievements. The result is the teacher’s complete knowledge of the indicators of teaching and students’ personal characteristics. It allows for the implementation of evaluative-refiective activities, to adjust the content, forms and methods of teaching
