Cinema and psychoanalysis in M. Puig's “Eternal curse on the reader of these pages”

The article analyzes the influence of cinema and psychoanalysis on the M. Puig’s seventh novel «Eternal Curse on the Reader of These Pages». It aims to define the role of cinema and psychoanalysis in the composition and plot constructing. It is concluded that the novel is full of Freudian ideas in their vulgar interpretation. Moreover, the narration reminds of psychotherapy due to endless dialogues and dreams. Also the movie watching effect is created via the narration structure.
