Classification of administrative punishments

This article examines the classification of administrative penalties according to legal significance. The main and additional administrative penalties, the order of their application in practice are considered. For a specific administrative offense, either the main or the main plus one of the additional administrative penalties may be imposed. As a result, we came to the conclusion that an administrative fine is the most common administrative penalty for citizens, officials, and organizations (legal entities).
