Unmanned Aviation Systems (UAS) perform various tasks such as monitoring, photogrammetry, aerial filming, package delivery, rescue operations, etc. One crucial component of UAS is the flight control system or flight controller. There are numerous manufacturers of flight controllers, and choosing one that suits the configuration of the design base is a challenging task. The selection of a flight controller is not a trivial matter due to the lack of standardized information across manufacturers. This can lead to the incorrect choice of a flight controller, resulting in subsequent damage. This paper explores various components of the flight controller to harmonize available information.
