Classification of the contemporary regional socio-educational projects: empirical research experience

The article describes the classification of the socio-educational projects which are being implemented at the regional level at the present time. The author presents the original definition of the “socio-educational project”. The article is founded on author's surveys conducted by means of expert interview since 2014. The classification is based on implementation area, content, target audience, actors, and the overall objective of the socio-educational projects. According to the criterion of the implementation area, the author distinguishes projects aimed at the political and moral education of youth as well as the formation of a healthy lifestyle. The criterion of the target audience implies the projects focused on youth, retired persons, and certain social groups (in this case, local authorities). From the perspective of actors, the study defines the initiative socio-educational project as well as the projects initiated by the authorities, nonprofit organization, and business community. The criterion of the objective is a ground for creating the educational and motivational projects.
