The article analyzes the purpose of law-enforcement symbols, and the background of current society and state modernization processes are taken into consideration. The author defines the role of law in the regulation of social relations in the context of modernization. The importance of such law enforcement as a means of symbols is noted. The author gives a classification model of law-enforcement symbols. The three groups of lawenforcement means are represented by the author. The author defines them and identifies their purpose in law-enforcement activities.
