Some patients, after South Ural radiation disasters, have experienced complication of psychotic symptoms - from posttraumatic stress disorders to chronic changes of personality after catastrophe, characterized by complex clinical structure. Specificity of chronic personality changes after catastrophe is explained by chronic action of various factors and, first of all, dominant - radiation and psychogenic ones. The basis of research is an examination of 384 patients residing near Techa river and having suffered on the territory of the Ural East Radioactive Trace.
