Clinical case: doubling of the gallbladder

Бесплатный доступ

Biliary tract anomalies are congenital defects and malformations that can often cause functional disorders of the biliary tract with the subsequent development of inflammatory changes and the formation of calculi. Abnormalities in the development of the gallbladder occur in the general population in 6 - 8% of cases. Doubling of the gallbladder occurs with a frequency of 1: 3000 - 4000. The paper demonstrates a rare clinical case of MR imaging of gallbladder doubling.
