Patients of cardiology hospital have coronary disease combined with clinically significant anxiety depressive disorders in 43% of cases. Every fifth patient is identified with affective disorders (F3). Ischemic heart disease combined with anxietydepressive disorders is found more frequently among women rather than men (40 vs 22%). Women, suffering from ischemic heart disease and anxiety depressive disorders, have a high degree of cholesterol and low density lipoprotein. Against a background of antidepressant therapy significant improvement in the clinical course of coronary artery disease syndromes of angina and heart failure and reduction of anxiety - depressive symptoms were noted. Taking a dose of SSRIs for a long time has not caused any serious adverse events or changes in basic biochemical parameters of blood. The proposed scheme of joint dynamic observation of patients by the working group of cardiologists and psychiatrists within the biopsychosocial model of rehabilitation is effective and applicable for widespread use in cardiology, particularly in outpatient practice.
