The present study investigates clinical and dynamic features of mood disorders comorbid with personality disorder. Total group of patients (n=50) with current moderate or severe depressive episode (F31, F32, F33) was divided into two matched by age, sex and diagnosis groups: main group (n=25) - presence of comorbidity with personality disorder (F60.31 ; F60.4; F61.0), comparison group (n=25) - patients without comorbid personality disorder. Assessment of severity of current depressive episode was made using SIGH-SAD. In main group, onset of affective disorder at a younger age, longer duration and greater severity of depressive episodes, more frequent recurrence of affective episodes, more severe atypical depressive symptoms and higher incidence rate of anxiety-dysphoric syndrome in structure of current depressive episode as compared with the corresponding indices in patients with affective disorders without presence of comorbidity with personality disorder have been noted.
