Clinical-genetic aspects of polymorphic variants of TNF-? gene, interleukin-1? gene and interleukin-1 receptor antagonist gene influence on the initiation and development of CHF in patients with CHD are presented in the article. We studied 165 CHD patients with NYHA Class I-IV CHF (121 males and 44 females, mean age - 56,7±5,3 years). Control group consisted of 114 persons (54 males and 60 females, mean age 53,2±4,9 years). The level of proinflammatory cytokine TNF-? in CHF patients was shown to be associated with high risk of CHF development and severity degree of CHF clinical manifestations. Associations between polymorphous variants of IL-1Ra gene (VNTR intron 2) and CHF development were not revealed. Association between serum TNF-? level and polymorphism of TNF-? and IL-1? genes with high risk of CHF development and severity of disease was found as well.
