Clinical-epidemiologic peculiarities of chronic cardiac insufficiency in the population of Republic of Bashkortostan

Etiology of chronic cardiac insufficiency in patients applying to medical institutions in Republic of Bashkortostan is developed in the article. The screening of all patients admitted to Republican Cardiologic Hospital of Republic of Bashkortostan during 3 months (4716 persons) was performed followed by clinical analysis of these patients. Chronic cardiac insufficiency was revealed in 1/3 patients applying to the Republican Cardiologic Hospital of Republic of Bashkortostan. Most of them were men; women with chronic cardiac insufficiency were older than men. Arterial hypertension and ischemic heart disease were the most common causes of chronic cardiac insufficiency.
