Clinical-morphologic and functional peculiarities of cardiovascular system in teenagers having arterial hypertension

Peculiarities of cardiocascular system in arterial hypertension teenagers were investigated in 30 patients aged 12-16 years. 25 healthy teenagers of the same age with normal arterial pressure were controls. The investigation results revealed that adolescents with increased arterial pressure had morpho-functional changes of cardiovascular system such as nonspecific disorders of the repolarization processes in the left ventricular myocardium, pathology of excitability function, predominance of left ventricular electric potentials in 42% of cases. Hyperkinetic circulation pattern in cerebral vessels, increased cardiac output, time precipitation of ejecting blood by heart in the setting of unchanged common peripheral vascular resistance were revealed in 86% of adolescents. Functional methods of the investigation can be used as screening methods revealing cardiac and vascular pathology hypertensive adolescents.
