Clinical and morphological substantiation of the efficiency of the use of the hemostatic sponge "Takhokomb" for enterotomy in exeriment

In the course of the conducted studies, it was proved that the use of the Tachocomb sponge ensures the tightness of the intestinal anastomosis. Macroscopic examination of the intestinal wall in the area of the suture showed no thickening of tissues and adhesions. Histological studies have established that the use of a hemostatic sponge provides the formation of more prosperous tissue in the area of enterotomy, which is accompanied by less pronounced leukocyte infiltration of the mucous and submucosal layers of the caecum of the rat. At the same time, its subcutaneous administration causes pronounced destructive processes in the muscles and subcutaneous tissue, which is a contraindication for use.
