The analysis of the branch and competitive situation on the market of phosphorus-containing minerals is considered in the article. The key factors of the competitiveness reflecting specifics of the branch are revealed. Based on the performed analysis, the functioning of the mining and chemical holding companies in conditions of turbulent environment is described.
