Student business prospects club as a means of forming entrepreneurial competencies of students of professional educational organizations

The article examines the topical issue of developing entrepreneurial competencies of vocational education students as a response to the tasks set by the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”. To solve the project’s problems, a study was conducted on the conditions for the successful formation of young entrepreneurs in the educational environment. A large number of studies have been devoted to the formation of entrepreneurial competencies among economic entities, and each historical period has its own model of an entrepreneur with its characteristics. Having analyzed the opinions of scientists on this issue, teacher-researchers came to the conclusion that such abilities can be cultivated in a person by creating appropriate social-organizational and psychological-pedagogical conditions. The ability to regularly and successfully carry out this kind of activity, initiative and foresight competencies become an important component of the personality of a modern entrepreneur when implementing business projects. This article is devoted to the issues of developing entrepreneurial competencies in young people that meet the requirements of modern business realities, the Federal State Educational Standard for Secondary Professional Education and the main strategic documents of the Government of the Russian Federation. To this aim, a professional educational organization has created conditions for students that contribute to their formation. One of these conditions is the activity of the Perspective club, which is based on the principles of system-activity, collectivist and person-oriented methodological approaches. The article shows the role of club activities in the business-oriented training of technical school students. Both personal and collective results were noted, expressed in increased motivation, activity and effectiveness of students’ participation in the competitive movement in the field of “Entrepreneurship”.
