Cognitive disorders in relatives of children suffering from early infantile autism

The article presents results of a study of cognitive functions of the parents of children suffering from early infantile autism - verbal fluency, speed of information processing and attention, verbal memory, problem-solving behavior and thinking. Statistically significant differences in comparison with the control group for part of the investigated indicators - verbal fluency, encryption, and frequency of updating of latent variables in thinking were revealed, that further confirms the role of genetic influences on the development of early infantile autism.
