The theory of socio-economic formations argues that communism in a negative form reproduces primitive social totalitarianism. The negative form of totalitarianism reveals itself as liberalism. The history of Russia in the 20th-21th centuries confirms this conclusion. The communist formation arises as a result of overcoming the economic alienation of a man who ceases to be a social functionary, returning his natural essential powers. However, it is not a simple free-will anarchy of the spontaneously-consumer type and is based on the totally organized basis of social being. Its core is liberalism, caring for a person on the scale of a harmoniously socially organized humanity. The subject of successful implementation of such care today is only the state, gradually transforming from the body that harmonizes the mode of existence of the economic-exploitative human society, into the form of a generic social subject of public self-government.
