Compensation for moral damage as a way to protect civil rights in Russia

The paper deals with the issues of compensation for moral damage, the relevance of which is due to the fact that at present it is one of the main and most used means of protecting civil rights, the implementation of which raises a number of questions. The author points to the theoretical disputes in science and expresses his opinion on them, as well as on the problems associated with the implementation of this method of protection in practice. Based on the results of the study, possible solutions to each of the problems are proposed, for example, the study by lower courts of judicial practice in similar cases of higher instances, strict compliance with the law, etc.
