Competence of life-building: the category of life planning in the competence approach

Statement of the problem and the purpose of the article. The article presents the analysis of the category of life planning from the point of view of the competence approach. There is a contradiction between the fact that, on the one hand, the ability to set goals and build life plans acts as one of the key results of modern education, and, on the other hand, the life plan is mainly understood as a static image created in response to the change of the world, and skills for its creation, implementation and adjustment are not considered. To resolve the existing contradiction, the concept of the competence of life-building is introduced - the competence to build and implement life plans. Research methodology. The study is theoretical in nature. Theoretical methods of research are used: analysis, synthesis, systematization of scientific ideas; system structural, functional and genetic analysis of the problem; modeling. The methodology of the study is the subject-activity approach (S.L. Rubinstein, A.N. Leontiev, B.G. Ananyev, L.I. Antsiferova, K.A. Abulkhanova-Slavskaya, A.V. Brushlinsky, etc.), the competence-based approach (Yu.G. Tatur, I.A. Zimnyaya, A.V. Khutorskoy, etc.). Research results. The competence-based approach to the concept of a life plan was proved. On the basis of the allocated contradictions and the analysis of key concepts the key concept of the research, i.e. the competence of life-building, was formulated and defined. The content and results of the preparatory, organizational stage of the study are presented. The novelty and the importance of the research are defined, the research methodology is presented. Conclusion. The theoretical analysis of the problem describes the key concepts associated with the competence of life-building, its components, the logical sequence of mental and physical actions of a person in which this competence is realized. The list of conditions for the formation of competence of life-building in the educational process is identified.
