Competence-oriented technologies in mathematics lessons

The article discusses modern technologies for the formation of general and professional competencies of students of secondary vocational education organizations. Particular attention is paid to author’s examples of the application of these technologies in mathematics lessons. The author gives a brief description of various educational competence-oriented technologies and substantiates the need for their use in pedagogical practice in order to improve the teaching of mathematics with concrete examples, which is manifested in the formation of general and professional competencies of students.
