Competence-Based Approach to Organizing Distance Learning in Universities of the Kyrgyz Republic

This paper examines the implementation of a competency-based approach within the distance learning systems of universities in the Kyrgyz Republic amid the digitalization of higher education. It analyzes current trends in educational modernization aimed at developing students' professional, communicative, informational, and digital competencies. Particular attention is paid to the organizational and pedagogical conditions for effective distance learning, including the use of electronic educational platforms, interactive technologies, and independent student work methods. The study explores the challenges and prospects for implementing a competency-based approach in the educational practices of Kyrgyzstan's universities and substantiates the need to improve the methodological support of distance learning to enhance the quality of training for future specialists.
