The purpose of the study is to describe the stages of development and implementation in the educational process of one of the forms of practical training, namely, a computer workshop. The relevance of the work is determined by the need for didactic support for teaching a mathematics course using information technology. The research problem is that when setting out the subject, innovations aimed at optimizing the stages of learning are not sufficiently involved. At the same time, a computer workshop is not a substitute for traditional forms of training, but their complement. The object of study is the process of mathematical preparation with the help of a computer workshop in mathematics, the subject is the creation of such a workshop. The need to introduce a similar form of training into the educational process arose because of the shortage of time allocated for fixing the material. In this regard, the basic elements of the workshop according to the curriculum are identified. In addition, the integral components of the process are the generalization and classification of the mathematics course in terms of theoretical material, as well as the systematization of skills for solving general and professional problems in the specialty, as a result of which the teaching time of the teacher and students can be released. There is a goal of designing didactic materials, allowing to realize the idea of intensifying students’ activities with the prospect of self-control. Among other things, an important part of introducing a computer workshop into the educational process is saving the teacher’s time spent on repeating and controlling the knowledge of students with the help of computer support and well-designed didactic materials, which are elements of a didactic complex based on standards.
