Complex treatment of first episode paranoid schizophrenia in young adults

This research focuses on the development and application of new integrated approaches to the treatment of first diagnosed paranoid schizophrenia in young adults. Variants of socio-psychological adaptation were offered for the patients who are expected to have a tendency toward both worsening paroxysmal and continuous paranoid schizophrenia flow types. The results of the study include productive symptoms mitigation and medicament-induced remission establishment timeframes, as well as the patients’ resocialization degree, their hospital admissions frequency during the observation period and disability levels.
