The aim of the study was to present normal mammographic and ultrasonographic images in various types of breast reconstruction after mastectomy. Current breast reconstruction techniques are diverse and may involve the use of self-tissue and also a tissue expanders and prosthesis. The study involved 90 patients who underwent breast reconstruction on the basis of the Federal state budgetary institution "Russian Scientific Center of Roentgenoradiology" of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation (RSCRR) in the period of time 2012-2016. All patients underwent mammography and ultrasound semiotics to create the reconstructed breast. At the present time it has not yet formed a consensus about the optimal methods for patient’s follow-up after mastectomy and breast reconstruction. However, it is obvious that X-ray mammography and ultrasound provide excellent imaging capabilities in these patients. For effective control radiologists (physicians, radiologists, doctors ultrasound diagnostics) should be aware of basic surgical techniques as well as on a normal mammographic and sonographic picture of the reconstructed breast.
