In article creation of the concept of "wildlife" on the example of the Russian animalistic graphics and painting of the XVIII century is considered, features of an art form of the first animalistic images, a role of "kunstkamerny drawing", still life’s, hunting scenes in formation of resistant interest in animalistic are noted. It is said that the New era focused on real perception of the world, directed to scientific knowledge defined features of the first animalistic images which consisted in emergence of an image of an animal in a concrete look what it saw each other to the artists aimed at imitation the nature. Accumulation of authentic data on the nature, development of natural sciences - all this became favorable circumstances of further formation of a genre. As a result there was a graphic system of scrupulous animalistic drawing which isn’t going beyond objective perception of model. Early "kunstkamerny" drawing, still life’s and "pictures of hunting" showed concentration of masters in the direction of the analysis of animalistic model, representing the defined "world picture" of that era.
