The concept food in proverbs and sayings (in the German language)

This article is devoted to the study of the problems of proverbs and sayings in relation to the concept food of German-speaking glutton’s discourse on the material of German-speaking stable expressions of glutton’s communicative space. In the article the specificity of German-speaking proverbs and sayings are considered in detail, examples of proverbs and sayings in the concept food are analyzed, and in the result of the research the dominant trends of translation and use of proverbs and sayings for this concept are revealed. The relevance of the work is due to the need of a comprehensive study of the peculiarities of proverbs and sayings of the German-speaking gluttonic communicative space.
