The concept “cunning” in the Russian proverbial environment: the linguistic and cognitive aspect

The article deals with the concept “cunning” on the basis of the Russian proverbs. There are analyzed the ways of the nomination of the concept during the study, there are revealed the cognitive traits and field structure in the Russian proverbial environment. The author concludes about the characteristics and values of the cunning, the sly behavior and the sly person in the Russian proverbs and the interrelation of the concept “cunning” with the other concepts in the sphere of concepts.
