The article analyzes the results of a study regarding the conflict potential in the healthcare sector and the role of mediative practices in conflict resolution in medicine. This research perspective is necessitated by the high dynamics of conflicts in the medical field, primarily in the context of direct interaction between personnel and citizens seeking medical assistance. The study examines such aspects of the stated problem as the sources of conflicts, their consequences for both parties, and methods for their resolution. The aim of the study is to emphasize the role of communication, empathy, and effective interaction in preventing conflicts and increasing patient satisfaction with healthcare delivery. Particular attention is paid to mediation as an effective method for mitigating conflicts and an alternative to litigation, allowing for the satisfaction of the participants’ interests while minimizing time and financial expenditures and avoiding reputational risks.
