The research is focused on the analysis of the role of professional dynasty in the reproduction of the medical profession. The materials of autobiographical interviews show how the medical dynasty influences the choice of a profession and education, employment, and career advancement. The article considers the competitive advantages of representatives of medical dynasties in the educational (access to education, ease of learning from the perspective of starting opportunities for gaining knowledge and experience, access to internships) and social and labor spheres (employment under patronage, recognition of the dynasty and recognition by patients). It has been established that the family dynasty has all the necessary resources (educational, cultural, social, etc.) and has a competitive advantage over other strategies for the reproduction of the medical profession in general. Therefore, the popularization of family professional dynasties can play an important role in solving the personnel issue of the health care system.
