Competitiveness of oil flax to weeds depending on crops contamination and species composition. Tishkov N.M., A.A. Dryakhlov. "Scientific Bulletin", VNIIMK, 2005, v. 1 (132). Research results on revelation of competitiveness of oil flax to weeds are presented. It is determined that crops contamination degree, weed species composition and their quantity influence maximally on plant length of oil flax, seed amount from one plant, seed productivity and less on mass of 1000 seeds. Competitiveness of oil flax is high enough only in poor contamination by cereal weds (to 10 p/m2)., ragweed, amaranth, abutilon (3-5 p/m2).. It reduces in stronger crop contamination, especially by ragweed (more than 40 p/m2).; it leads to decreasing of plant populations, yield deterioration and shortage of seed mass till 40 and more percents.
