Constitutional and legal regulation of anti-corruption efforts in the PRC

The article analyzes the experience of combating corruption in the People’s Republic of China. We have considered the historical and socio-political factors that influenced the spread of corruption in the government apparatus of China, and estimated the anti-corruption measures taken by the current leadership of the Chinese state. The article emphasizes the necessity of adopting certain laws, including those aimed at changing the text of the Constitution of the PRC within the framework of the historical and legal analysis of the development of China’s modern legal system. We have analyzed the role of constitutional amendments, dedicated regulations in the prevention and combating corrupt behavior of officials. The experience of anti-corruption activities in China may be used in Russian conditions; in the article we have formulated some proposals in this field.
