Constitutional framework for nature management and environmental protection. Problems of improvement of environmental legislation

The actual environmental and legal problem of the Russian Federation today is being solved with the help of laws and other normative legal acts, which, interacting, form a system of environmental legislation. The leading position among all laws and other normative acts of the country belongs to the Constitution of the Russian Federation. It contains provisions that consolidate the constitutional foundations of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources. In some of its articles, the goals, objectives and main directions of state and public activities in the field of environmental protection and the main responsibilities of citizens in relation to environmental management are formed. This article examines the problems of environmental regulation, such as gaps in environmental legislation and violation of environmental rights of citizens.
