Constitutional basis for the participation of a lawyer in criminal proceedings in the Kyrgyz Republic

The article analyzes the constitutional basis for the participation of a lawyer in criminal proceedings in the Kyrgyz Republic and the implementation of the right to provide qualified legal assistance. The article states that the right of citizens to receive qualified legal assistance is guaranteed by the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic. In addition, the author has studied the guarantees of ensuring the independence of a lawyer in criminal proceedings. The article also discusses the procedural position of a lawyer in criminal proceedings and the methods of direct participation of a lawyer in criminal proceedings.
