Constructing cultural traditions in the educational environment: ideals of positive socialization of the youth

Modernization of Russian educational system is considered from the perspective of its transformation. A key role in this process is devoted to the construction of new pedagogical practices that take into account such factors of the changing social and cultural environment as transitivity, complexity, uncertainty and diversity. In the conditions of a transforming society an important consolidating role is played by the notions of positive socialization of the younger generations. By positive socialization the author understands socialization, the criteria of which are communicative rationality, strategies for self-realization and personal growth, achievement of professional success and psychological well-being. The ideal of positive socialization also includes subjectivity, navigation in the modern informational environment, critical thinking, scientific and legal rationality, and relies on constructing the cultural traditions that promote productive integration.
