Contamination and consistent combination of ascertaining types of speech in fiction

The article covers the issues of typology of speech. The object of the research is functional-semantic types of speech. The subject of the research is descriptive-narrative contaminated speech. The works of Russian classical literature were the material used for the analysis. Two ways of contamination’s manifestation of ascertaining types of speech are identified on the basis of the analysis. The solution of the problem of contamination’s distinction of ascertaining types of speech and their serial combination in fiction is presented.
