Contamination of foodstuff with antibiotics and the methods of their detection

One of the most widespread contaminants of biogenous origin detected in livestock products are residual antibiotics. The article reviews aspects of their danger, the results of own monitoring research, modern methods of indication and also the existing problems of antibiotics detection under the production conditions. He authors have offered the easy method for detection contaminants in livestock products consisting in measuring the optical density of the nutrient medium containing the culture of microorganisms and the studied product.
