Context of key words creating the image of an English garden in “The shell seekers” by R. Pilcher

The article is an attempt of linguopoetic analysis of key words creating an artistic image of an English garden in «The Shell Seekers» by R.Pilcher. The materials under analysis are the lexical items: garden, hedge, flower and conservatory. Aesthetically significant features were revealed in the course of the research of these words usage with the account of their thesaurus study.
