Control standards for determining the level of technical preparedness of the basketball elective direction students

In 2016-2017, a system for organizing the educational process in physical education in elective areas was introduced in Petrozavodsk State University (PetrSU), taking into account the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education 301. In the process of practical work, the teachers of the Department of Physical Education (KFC) encountered some difficulties. The proposed criteria for assessing the level of general physical training, special physical and technical training in some cases were overestimated, and somewhere there were, as it turned out, too low indicators for assessing students' achievements. This article proposed control standards to determine the level of technical readiness of students who have chosen the elective “Basketball” direction.
