The ways of the transfer of the neologisms of the coronavirus discourse in the German and Russian languages: translation aspect

The article deals with the analysis of the word-formation and semantic peculiarities of the neologisms of the coronavirus discourse in the German language and the specific features of their transfer into the Russian language. There is identified that the semantic derivation and the word-formation derivation are the basic ways of the origin of new words. There are prevailed calquing, transcription and descriptive translation in the Russian version.
