Corporate governance and companies business law of the Republic of Serbia

The author points out the importance of harmonization of national legislation with the current company's international standards set out in the field of corporate governance, which is a precondition of international integration. The author analyzes the phenomenon of corporate governance in general corporate aspect, in light of the decision of comparative law and international flows. The author concludes that we are adopting modern laws, such as the Companies Business Law closer international integration, but it is certainly necessary to improve the provisions in accordance with the rich world, corporate practices and implementation of basic standards set out in OECD Principles of Corporate Governance, will accelerate the economic development of Serbia.
