Corpus analysis of Russian business media discourse and its application in strategic intelligence management

The article examines the use of corpus analysis of Russian business media discourse to improve the effectiveness of strategic intelligence of companies. The need to use quantitative methods for processing large arrays of media texts in the context of high uncertainty of the modern business environment is substantiated. A methodology for constructing a specialized linguistic corpus based on materials from authoritative business publications with subsequent multi-level markup is developed. Three key areas of analysis are proposed: frequency and collocation analysis, sentiment analysis and identification of discursive strategies. Based on the results of the study, a model for integrating corpus analysis into the strategic intelligence system is developed, allowing linguistic data to be transformed into strategically significant information for making management decisions. The possibility of using the method to identify trends, assess risks and the competitive environment is shown.
