The carried out analysis of the latest studies shows the role of different modified risk factors in the development of colorectal cancer such as: "Western" diet, lifestyle and medical drugs. Together, these factors through the system of intracellular signal pathways on a molecular level destroy the regulation of the normal cell cycle, promoting oncological transformation of colon mucosa and creating favorable conditions for the survival and proliferation of tumor cells. It is noted that the use of primary prevention measures can reduce the risk of colorectal cancer by 3070%.
