The need to find the best options for swimmer's movements structure, desire for the level of model performance of world leaders' swimming techniques cause the relevance of this study. This article discusses possibilities of the kinematic characteristics correction of swimming techniques by means of specific exercises. The use of specially developed exercise complex for swimming technique correction lays at the heart of the author's technique. Exercises aimed at athlete's training to control stroke's biomechanical structure were used as training means. 10 swimmers - masters of sports and masters of sports of international class took part in the research. Swimming technique parameters of three World Cup winners were used as model characteristics. Technical preparedness control using the method of computer video analysis was conducted in the beginning, middle and end of the training microcycle. Modes of training loads were evaluated by content of lactic acid in the athletes' blood. The results showed that by the end of the training macrocycle champions and prize-winners of the Russian championship had wrist's acceleration increase at the end of pull-in phase and throughout all the repulsion phase an average of 3,1 and 5,4%. At the same time wrist's speed has increased slightly, indicating the end of the stroke of a higher quality with more force. Other generalized characteristics of swimmimg technique approached to the model values. In this way, special exercises for the correction of stroke's kinematic characteristics for their approach to the model values are recommended to include to the training process structure of qualified swimmers.
